5. Installation and Operation Instructions
5.1 Installation Requirements
Install vertically with gas inlet upward; keep the air inlet unobstructed.
Use matched DPD dedicated base; insert vertically in place without forced twisting.
Adopt sealed gas path connection; PTFE tubing is recommended.
Recommended gas flow rate: 200~500 mL/min; avoid excessive airflow impact.
Keep away from high temperature heat sources, strong vibration and corrosive gas environments.
5.2 Warm-up and Calibration
Power on and warm up for 10–15 minutes before calibration and formal measurement.
Zero Calibration: Apply high-purity nitrogen (0 ppm O₂) to complete zero point calibration.
Span Calibration: Use standard low-oxygen calibration gas for span adjustment.
Recalibration is required when ambient temperature or working conditions change greatly.
6. Safety Precautions
This sensor is non-explosion-proof; do not use in flammable and explosive hazardous areas.
Prevent condensed water, oil mist and dust from entering the air inlet.
Take ESD protection measures during handling and installation.
Do not disassemble the sensor housing privately to avoid electrolyte leakage and permanent failure.
Avoid long-term exposure to strong corrosive gases such as SO₂, Cl₂ and H₂S.
7. Maintenance and Storage
Perform zero and span calibration regularly every 3–6 months according to service conditions.
Keep the air inlet filter clean; replace the filter once blocked or contaminated.
Store in sealed original package at 10~30°C, 30%~70% RH in a cool and dry place.
Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and humid stacked storage.
8. Troubleshooting
| Fault Phenomenon | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No signal output | Poor contact / wrong insertion direction | Reinstall sensor correctly; check base contact |
| Unstable reading | Insufficient warm-up / gas flow fluctuation | Fully preheat; stabilize gas flow rate |
| Slow response speed | Air inlet blocked / sensor aging | Clean filter; recalibrate or replace sensor |
| Large measurement drift | Temperature mutation / expired calibration | Temperature compensation and recalibration |
