DU-2/MKII

Description

1. Product Overview

The DU-2/MKII is a second-generation MKII high-performance divided-potential electrochemical trace oxygen sensor.
It is optimized and upgraded on the basis of classic DU series structure, adopting improved electrolyte formula and enhanced anti-poisoning design. It is dedicated to ppm-level ultra-low oxygen detection, featuring higher stability, lower drift, faster response and wider temperature adaptability.
With standard DU interface, it is fully compatible with DIM signal modules, DELOMATIC controller and DPD series mounting bases, widely used in industrial inert gas monitoring, semiconductor process, laboratory glove box and professional oxygen analysis instruments.

5. Installation & Operation Guide

5.1 Installation

  1. Install vertically with the gas inlet facing upward, keep the vent unobstructed.

  2. Use matched DPD dedicated base; insert vertically in place, do not twist forcibly.

  3. Adopt sealed gas path connection; PTFE tube is recommended.

  4. Recommended gas flow: 200~500 mL/min; avoid over-speed airflow impact.

  5. Keep away from high temperature, strong vibration and corrosive gas environment.

5.2 Preheating & Calibration

  1. Power on and preheat for 10–15 minutes before calibration and official use.

  2. Zero Calibration: Use high-purity nitrogen (0 ppm O₂) to set zero point.

  3. Span Calibration: Use standard low oxygen gas for span calibration.

  4. When ambient temperature or working condition changes greatly, recalibration is required.

6. Safety Precautions

  • Non-explosion-proof design; prohibited for direct use in flammable and explosive hazardous areas.

  • Prevent condensed water, oil mist and dust from entering the air inlet.

  • Take anti-static protection during handling and installation.

  • Do not disassemble the sensor shell privately to avoid electrolyte leakage and permanent failure.

  • Avoid long-term exposure to strong corrosive gases such as SO₂, Cl₂ and H₂S.

7. Maintenance & Storage

  • Regular zero and span calibration every 3–6 months according to application environment.

  • Keep the inlet filter clean; replace it once blocked or contaminated.

  • Store in sealed package at 10~30°C, 30%~70% RH, cool dry place.

  • Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and damp stacking.
