5. Installation & Operation Guide
5.1 Installation Requirements
Adopt vertical installation with air inlet facing upward, keep breathable port unobstructed.
Use matched DPD dedicated base for docking, insert vertically in place without forced twisting.
Adopt sealed gas path connection; recommended PTFE tubing for pipeline layout.
Recommended gas flow rate: 200~500 mL/min; avoid excessive airflow impact.
Keep away from high temperature heat source, strong vibration and corrosive gas environment.
5.2 Preheating & Calibration
After installation and power-on, preheat for 10~15 minutes to stabilize signal.
Zero Calibration: Use high-purity nitrogen (0 ppm O₂) for zero point calibration.
Span Calibration: Use standard low-oxygen gas to complete span calibration.
Recalibration is required when working temperature or environment changes greatly.
6. Safety Precautions
Non-explosion-proof type; do not use directly in flammable and explosive hazardous areas.
Strictly prevent condensed water, oil liquid and dust from entering the air inlet.
Handle with anti-static measures; avoid static damage to internal sensitive components.
Do not disassemble the sensor shell privately; internal liquid leakage will cause permanent failure.
Avoid long-term exposure to strong corrosive gases such as Cl₂, SO₂ and H₂S.
7. Maintenance & Storage
It is recommended to perform zero/span calibration every 3~6 months according to usage.
Keep the air inlet filter clean; replace filter if blocked or contaminated.
Store in sealed original package at 10~30°C, 30~70% RH, cool and dry environment.
Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and damp stacking storage.
8. Troubleshooting
| Fault Phenomenon | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No signal output | Poor interface contact / reverse installation | Reinsert sensor correctly; check DPD base contact |
| Unstable reading | Insufficient preheating / airflow fluctuation | Fully preheat; stabilize gas flow rate |
| Slow response | Air inlet blocked / sensor aging | Clean filter; recalibrate or replace sensor |
| Large temperature drift | Working temperature sudden change | Do temperature compensation and recalibration |
