5. Installation & Operation Guide
5.1 Installation Requirements
Recommended vertical installation, keep the air inlet unobstructed.
Avoid direct impact of high-speed airflow on the sensor air inlet.
Adopt sealed pipeline connection; PTFE tube is recommended for gas path.
Keep away from severe vibration, high temperature heat source and corrosive gas environment.
5.2 Working Conditions
Recommended gas flow rate: 100 ~ 400 mL/min
Strictly prevent condensed water, liquid oil and dust from entering the air inlet
Avoid exposure to volatile organic gases, strong acid and alkali corrosive gases
5.3 Calibration Procedure
Power on and preheat the sensor for at least 10 minutes before calibration.
Zero Calibration: Use high-purity nitrogen (0 ppm O₂) to complete zero point calibration.
Span Calibration: Use standard low-oxygen calibration gas for span adjustment.
Re-calibration is required when working environment or temperature changes greatly.
6. Safety, Maintenance & Storage
This sensor is non-explosion-proof type; do not use in flammable and explosive hazardous areas.
Do not immerse the sensor in liquid; keep the air inlet filter clean and unblocked.
Take electrostatic protection measures during handling and installation.
Regular calibration is recommended every 3–6 months according to actual usage conditions.
Store in a cool, dry and ventilated environment, keep sealed, avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperature.
7. Troubleshooting
| Fault Phenomenon | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No signal output | Wrong wiring polarity / sensor failure | Check wiring; replace defective sensor |
| Unstable reading | Insufficient preheating / airflow fluctuation | Fully preheat; stabilize gas flow |
| Slow response speed | Air inlet blocked / sensor aging | Clean filter or replace sensor |
| Large measurement drift | Temperature mutation / overdue calibration | Make temperature compensation; recalibrate |
