KEBA DI260/A Digital Input Module Product Description I. Product Overview
KEBA DI260/A Digital Input Module Product Description I. Product Overview
KEBA DI260/A is a high-density digital input module of the Kemro system under the Austrian KEBA company. It is specifically designed for industrial automation control scenarios. As a signal acquisition unit between field sensors, switches and the main control system (PLC / motion controller), it reliably collects, isolates and transmits external switch signals. The module adopts a compact industrial design, integrates 16 independent digital input channels, and is natively compatible with the KEBA K-Bus bus. It is widely used in injection molding machines, machine tools, robots, presses and packaging machinery, etc., and complies with industrial standards such as EN 61131-2 and UL 508. It has CE and RoHS certifications and is suitable for harsh industrial environments.
II. Core Functions
16 Independent Digital Signal Acquisition
Provide 16 isolated digital input channels, each channel can independently collect 24V DC voltage signals or dry contact (NO/NC) signals, suitable for mainstream on-site input components such as proximity switches, photoelectric switches, limit switches, buttons, and relay contacts.
Precise Level Recognition and High-Speed Response
It has clear high and low level thresholds: ON ≥ 16V DC, OFF ≤ 5V DC, effectively avoiding signal jitter and false triggering; the response speed of a single channel is fast, ensuring real-time signal upload, suitable for high-speed automation cycles.
Electrical Isolation and Strong Anti-interference Capability
It adopts current isolation design, isolating the field side (24V DC) from the system side (K-Bus), blocking ground loops and electromagnetic interference (EMI), protecting the main control system from stable operation, suitable for scenarios where frequency converters and motors coexist with strong interference equipment.
Channel Status Visualization
Each channel is equipped with an independent green LED indicator light, which displays the input on/off status (on = ON, off = OFF) in real time, facilitating quick on-site debugging, fault location, and line troubleshooting, reducing maintenance complexity.
Flexible Address Configuration and Bus Adaptation
The module side integrates a 16-bit address dip switch, allowing manual setting of the K-Bus slave station address, plug-and-play without software configuration; natively supports KEBA K-Bus bus, compatible with KeControl P30/Kemro series control systems, communication is stable and efficient.
Multiple Protection and High Reliability
Integrated overvoltage protection, reverse polarity protection, channel short-circuit protection, with a single channel input current ≤ 10mA, avoiding external faults from damaging the module; industrial-grade components and reinforced design, capable of withstanding vibration, dust, and wide temperature environments.
