Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Vacuum belt, side rails, and base weekly to remove dust and debris.

  • Wipe console, belt, and frame with a slightly damp cloth after each use to remove sweat.

  • Do not use solvents, harsh chemicals, or abrasive cleaners on belt or deck—they damage lubrication and surface materials.

  • Dry all surfaces thoroughly after cleaning.

Belt Centering

  1. Run treadmill at 3–4 MPH (4.8–6.4 km/h) with no user on belt.

  2. If belt drifts left: Turn left rear roller bolt 1/4 turn clockwise.

  3. If belt drifts right: Turn right rear roller bolt 1/4 turn clockwise.

  4. Run 5 minutes to check alignment; repeat if needed (max 1/4 turn at a time).

Belt Tension

  • If belt slips during walking/running: Tighten both rear roller bolts 1/4 turn clockwise evenly.

  • Test and repeat if necessary. Do not over‑tighten—it shortens belt life and strains motor.

Deck & Motor Care

  • Lubricate running deck every 3–6 months with manufacturer‑recommended silicone lubricant.

  • Clean motor vents monthly to prevent dust buildup and overheating.

  • Inspect wiring connections quarterly for fraying or loose wires.

  • Check all frame bolts and hardware every 3 months; tighten if loose.

Troubleshooting

  • No power to console: Safety key not inserted; power cord unplugged; outlet dead. Insert key, plug in, check outlet.

  • Console lights but belt won’t move: Safety key not fully seated; belt too tight/loose; drive belt broken. Check key and tension; call service if motor hums.

  • Belt slips: Loose belt or worn deck. Tighten belt; replace deck if slipping continues.

  • Belt drifts: Adjust centering bolts per maintenance section.

  • No incline response: Incline motor fault or loose wiring. Check wires; contact service.

  • Unusual noise: Loose bolts, debris under belt, or worn bearings. Tighten hardware, clean under belt; call service if noise persists.

  • Heart rate inaccurate: Grips dirty or hands dry. Clean grips; moisten hands slightly or use wireless strap.

  • Console shows error code: Unplug for 5 minutes, restart. If error returns, note code and contact customer service.
