3. Key Features

  • Standard Compliance: Fully meets GB/T 8030 and ASTM D323 for Reid vapor pressure testing.

  • Precision Control: High-precision PT100 temperature sensor and digital pressure sensor ensure accurate and repeatable results.

  • Automatic Operation: One-key start, automatic temperature stabilization, pressure detection, data hold and printout.

  • Safety Design: Over-temperature, over-pressure and leakage protection; stainless steel pressure chamber.

  • User-Friendly: Large LCD display, real-time temperature/pressure monitoring, and data storage function.

4. Operating Instructions

  1. Preparation: Place the unit on a horizontal surface. Connect power and ground securely. Fill the water bath to the marked level.

  2. Warm-up: Turn on the power. The system will self-check and heat the bath to 37.8°C (stabilize for ≥30min).

  3. Sample Loading: Draw 50mL of cooled sample (0~4°C) into the sample chamber. Assemble and tighten the pressure vessel.

  4. Test Start: Press the START key. The unit will immerse the vessel in the bath and start timing.

  5. Pressure Reading: After 5min, read the pressure value. Rotate the vessel 90° and read again at 7min. Record the final stable reading.

  6. Completion: Press STOP. Release pressure, clean the chamber, and prepare for the next test.

5. Safety Warnings

  • Pressure Hazard: The vessel operates under pressure. Always ensure proper sealing before testing.

  • Temperature Hazard: The bath is at 37.8°C. Avoid prolonged skin contact.

  • Ventilation: Use in a well-ventilated area or fume hood to prevent vapor accumulation.

  • No Unauthorized Modification: Do not disassemble internal components; this may cause safety hazards.

  • Power Off Before Maintenance: Always disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.

6. Maintenance

  • Daily: Clean the sample chamber and seals after use; check water level.

  • Weekly: Verify temperature calibration with a precision thermometer.

  • Monthly: Inspect pressure hoses for leaks; clean the air filter.

  • Quarterly: Calibrate pressure sensor using a standard pressure gauge.

  • Storage: Keep in a dry, dust-free environment; drain the water bath if unused for long periods.
