7. Installation Instructions

  1. Install on standard B5 flange, avoid strong impact on motor shaft.

  2. Correctly align coupling or gearbox to prevent radial and axial overload.

  3. Use shielded power cable and encoder cable, strictly follow EMC grounding requirements.

  4. Reserve enough space around the motor for heat dissipation.

  5. Follow specified cable bending radius to avoid long-term damage.

8. Wiring Definition

  • Power terminal: U, V, W, PE

  • Brake terminal: +24 V DC, 0 V DC

  • Encoder terminal: EnDat signal, power supply and shielding ground

9. Safety Instructions

  • Cut off all power supply before installation, wiring and maintenance.

  • After power off, wait at least 5 minutes for drive capacitor discharge before operation.

  • It is forbidden to run the motor at 9100 rpm without load for a long time.

  • Do not disassemble encoder, brake and motor internal structure without permission.

  • Must ensure reliable protective earth connection.

10. Maintenance

  • Daily check motor running noise, temperature and cable appearance.

  • Regularly check connector tightness and insulation aging.

  • Keep motor surface clean and ventilation unobstructed.

  • Periodically test brake holding performance and encoder signal stability.

11. Troubleshooting

  • Motor does not rotate: Check power wiring, brake release signal and drive enable condition.

  • Overspeed alarm: Check encoder cable, EnDat communication and drive parameter setting.

  • Motor overheating: Check overload, poor heat dissipation or bearing wear.

  • Brake cannot release: Check 24 V DC power supply and brake wiring.

  • Vibration and noise at high speed: Check mechanical alignment, coupling installation and motor fixation.
