RS-422 full-duplex mode supports bidirectional simultaneous data transmission, suitable for precise control equipment that requires real-time bidirectional data interaction, with a long transmission distance and strong signal stability;

VI. Installation and Usage Flow

First, confirm that the industrial host is completely powered off, unplug the main power supply, open the mainframe chassis cover, find the idle ISA expansion slot inside the chassis; Place the XYCOM 4810E board card steadily and vertically insert it into the slot, ensure that the gold fingers are fully pressed against the slot and in place, tighten the board card fixing screws to prevent vibration from loosening; According to the communication requirements of the on-site equipment, adjust the board body jumpers switch to select the corresponding RS communication mode; After completing the hardware installation, close the chassis cover, connect the main power supply to the mainframe, and power on; Enter the industrial control operating system, configure the corresponding serial port, baud rate, and check method in the system background, and keep the parameters consistent with the external equipment to complete the communication connection.

VIII. Daily Maintenance and Fault Troubleshooting

When the channel indicator light shows no response, check if the board card is properly installed, if the ISA slot is damaged, and investigate the conflict of resource occupation on the host bus;

When a single channel fails while the other channels are operating normally, it is determined that the single-channel communication circuit is damaged. It can be directly replaced and used without affecting the operation of other functions of the entire card.
