1) Configuration Rules

32 Point AI Module (3700A/3704E): 1 Unit 9765-210 Direct Connect (1–32 Channels)

Hot Swap: Supports Online Replacement, Does Not Affect System Operation

2) Wiring (Three-wire 4–20mA Transmitter + CJC)

Three-wire Transmitter:

Transmitter + → CHx+

Transmitter - → CHx-

Transmitter Ground → CHx GND (Special for Three-wire)

Two-wire Compatibility: Short Circuit GND to CHx-

Thermocouple (TC) Cold Junction Compensation: TC+ → CHx+

Cable: 1.0–1.5mm² shielded twisted pair, single-ended grounding of the shielding layer
