Description

I. Product Introduction

Basic Parameters

Input / Power Supply: 24VDC loop power supply, compatible with dry contacts / wet contacts

Rated Parameters: 32 digital inputs, common terminal (common ground) design, each channel equipped with 1A slow-blow fuse

Overall Architecture: TMR triple redundant signal isolation, each channel independent photoelectric isolation

Safety Level: SIL3 (IEC 61508), compatible with Tricon safety instrumented system

Operating Temperature: -40℃ ~ +70℃ (industrial wide temperature range)

Protection Certification: CE, UL, CSA, ATEX/IECEx (available in explosion-proof areas)

Installation Form: Standard rail installation / panel mounting, green terminal block

Compatible Systems: Tricon v9/v10/v11 full series, compatible with 8110/8111 chassis

Replacement Relationship: Older 32-point DI terminal board, no direct upgrade model, the new version with the same function is 9563-810

Panel Indicator Lights

CH01–CH32 (green): Lit when the corresponding channel input is closed

PWR (green): Terminal board power supply is normal

FUSE (red): Lit when any channel fuse blows

II. Operating Instructions

Installation Location

Install in DIN rail or backplane of the cabinet, close to the field wiring side

Connect to Tricon I/O module via dedicated flat cable (such as 9562-810)

Installation Procedure

Rail-mounted installation, with snap fastening; supports online replacement, no need for downtime

Terminal block detachable, facilitating wiring and maintenance

Wiring Specifications

Field signals: Dry contacts → channel +, common terminal → 0V; Wet contacts → 24VDC +

Wire diameter: 1.0–1.5 mm² multi-strand copper wire, crimped cold press terminals

Fuse: Built-in 1A slow-blow fuse per channel, overcurrent automatic protection Operating status

Normal: The PWR indicator is constantly on, and the corresponding channel CH indicator lights turn on or off according to the input status.

No alarm: All FUSE indicator lights are off.

Fault handling

FUSE is on: Check for short circuit / overload in the corresponding channel circuit, and replace the fuse

CH is not on: Check the on-site switch, wiring, and common terminal voltage

PWR is not on: Check the 24VDC power supply and cable connection

III. Differentiation of the same series models

9561-810: 32-point common terminal digital input terminal board (with fuse)

9563-810: 32-point non-common terminal digital input terminal board (isolated type)
