Model 6210021 is an industrial inductive proximity sensor. It works on non-contact inductive principle to detect metal objects, widely used in automated machinery, production line positioning, limit stroke control, conveyor systems and mechanical position signal feedback. With IP67 dustproof and waterproof design, strong anti-interference capability and stable performance, it is suitable for long-term continuous operation in harsh industrial environments.

2. Main Features

  • Model: 6210021

  • Type: Inductive proximity sensor

  • Detectable materials: All metal objects

  • Supply voltage: 10–30 V DC

  • Output type: 3-wire DC

  • Max load current: ≤ 200 mA

  • Protection class: IP67 dustproof & waterproof

  • Operating temperature: -25 °C ~ +70 °C

  • Built-in reverse polarity, overvoltage and short-circuit protection

  • Vibration resistant, shockproof, long service life

3. Safety Precautions

  • Disconnect power before installation and wiring.

  • Do not exceed rated voltage 10–30 V DC.

  • Reverse power wiring is strictly prohibited to avoid sensor damage.

  • Keep away from high-power motors and transformers to prevent magnetic interference.

  • Do not disassemble or modify the sensor arbitrarily.

  • Avoid mechanical impact, oil corrosion and long-term damp conditions.

4. Installation Guide

  1. Fix the sensor with lock nut or mounting bracket.

  2. Keep standard effective sensing distance from metal target.

  3. Install perpendicular to the detected metal surface for best accuracy.

  4. Do not place extra metal parts near the sensing head.

  5. Arrange cables properly, avoid sharp bending and forced pulling.

5. Wiring Definition

  • Brown : DC +10~30 V Power

  • Blue  : DC 0 V Ground

  • Black : Signal output

  • Shield: Ground only at controller side

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Wire strictly follow the standard definition.

  2. Power on, sensor enters standby state.

  3. When metal approaches within sensing range, indicator lights up with signal output.

  4. When metal moves away, signal resets and indicator turns off.

  5. Compatible with PLC, relay and automation controller input.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No indicator light: Check power supply and wiring.

  • Always output signal: Metal too close or surrounding metal interference.

  • Unstable flashing: Loose wiring, vibration or voltage fluctuation.

  • Light on but no output: Broken signal wire or damaged load.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean dust and iron scraps on sensing surface regularly.

  • Periodically check mounting tightness and cable aging.

  • Avoid long-term working in high temperature and corrosive environment.

  • Replace in time if shell crack or cable damage appears.
