Model 6200059 is a standard industrial inductive proximity sensor. It adopts non-contact inductive sensing principle to detect metal objects, widely used in automated machinery, production line position detection, limit control, machine tool stroke feedback and conveyor system signal detection. With IP67 waterproof and dustproof performance, it runs stably in harsh industrial environments.

2. Main Features

  • Model: 6200059

  • Type: Inductive proximity sensor

  • Detection target: All metal materials

  • Supply voltage: 10–30 V DC

  • Output form: 3-wire DC

  • Maximum load current: ≤ 200 mA

  • Protection grade: IP67 dustproof & waterproof

  • Operating temperature: -25 °C ~ +70 °C

  • Built-in reverse polarity, overvoltage and short-circuit protection

  • Vibration resistance, strong anti-interference, long service life

3. Safety Precautions

  • Disconnect power before installation and wiring.

  • Do not apply voltage beyond 10–30 V DC.

  • Strictly prohibit reverse power connection to prevent sensor damage.

  • Keep away from high-power motors, transformers and strong magnetic interference sources.

  • Do not disassemble or modify the sensor arbitrarily.

  • Avoid mechanical impact, oil contamination and long-term damp working conditions.

4. Installation Guide

  1. Fix the sensor with locking nut or mounting bracket.

  2. Maintain the rated sensing distance from the metal target.

  3. Install perpendicular to the detected surface for best detection accuracy.

  4. Do not place extra metal parts around the sensing head.

  5. Route the cable properly, avoid sharp bending and forced pulling.

5. Wiring Definition

  • Brown  : DC +10~30 V Power

  • Blue   : DC 0 V Ground

  • Black  : Signal output

  • Shield : Ground only at controller side

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Wire connection must follow the standard definition.

  2. Power on, the sensor enters standby mode.

  3. When metal enters effective detection range, indicator lights up and output acts.

  4. When metal leaves the detection area, output resets and indicator turns off.

  5. Suitable for direct connection to PLC, relay and automation controller input.

7. Troubleshooting

  • No indicator light: Check power supply and wiring integrity.

  • Always output ON: Metal target too close or surrounding metal interference.

  • Signal unstable flickering: Loose wiring, equipment vibration or power fluctuation.

  • Indicator on but no output: Signal wire broken or load faulty.

8. Maintenance

  • Clean dust and iron debris on the sensing surface regularly.

  • Check mounting tightness and cable wear periodically.

  • Avoid long-term operation in high temperature and corrosive gas environment.

  • Replace immediately if shell crack or cable aging occurs.
