3. Safety Precautions

Disconnect all power supply before installation, wiring and maintenance. Wait at least 10 minutes to let internal capacitor discharge completely before touching electrical terminals.
Connect the motor grounding terminal to reliable earth ground to prevent electric shock and electromagnetic interference.
Do not apply excessive radial load, axial impact or extra bending force to the motor output shaft.
Keep hands, tools and clothing away from rotating parts during motor operation.
This model is not equipped with holding brake; external mechanical locking structure should be configured if position retention is required.

4. Installation

Mechanical Installation

Mount the motor on a rigid, flat and stable mounting surface.
Fasten mounting bolts evenly with standard torque requirement.
Keep good coaxial alignment between motor shaft and load coupling to avoid vibration and bearing wear.
Reserve enough surrounding space to ensure natural heat dissipation and air flow.

Electrical Wiring

Use shielded power cable to connect U, V, W and PE terminals correctly.
Apply dedicated FANUC shielded cable for encoder connection, lock the connector tightly.
Separate power cables and encoder cables during routing to reduce signal interference.

5. Operation Guidelines

Run the motor within rated speed and torque range; avoid long-term over-speed and over-load operation.
Perform low-speed jog test after power on, check smooth rotation without abnormal noise and vibration.
Avoid frequent start-stop under heavy load for long time.
Monitor motor current, temperature and running status in real time via servo driver.

6. Maintenance

Check motor appearance, dust accumulation and terminal connection tightness every month.
Clean motor surface with dry soft cloth regularly.
Inspect running noise, vibration and temperature rise routinely.
Check encoder signal stability every six months.
Test winding insulation resistance with 500V megohmmeter, keep resistance value above 1 MΩ.
For long-term storage, place in dry environment with temperature -20°C to +60°C and humidity below 60%. Rotate motor shaft manually every 3 months to prevent bearing rust and seizure.

7. Troubleshooting

Overcurrent fault: caused by winding short circuit, insulation damage, wrong wiring or excessive mechanical load.
Encoder alarm: check loose connector, damaged cable or strong electromagnetic interference.
Motor overheating: caused by long-term overload, poor ventilation or bearing abnormal friction.
Abnormal noise and vibration: caused by bearing aging, coupling misalignment or mechanical jamming.

8. Warranty

Warranty period is 12 months from purchase date, covering inherent defects of material and manufacturing process.
Damage caused by improper installation, wrong operation, overload, unauthorized modification and manual collision is not covered by warranty.
