Compact & Lightweight: ~1.5 kg, easy integration.
Straight Keyed Shaft: Standard coupling compatibility, reliable torque transmission.
Brushless & Maintenance-Free: No carbon brushes; sealed bearings require no lubrication.
Fanless Cooling: High reliability, low noise.
#7008 Configuration: Cost-effective for general automation with brake and standard shaft.
6. Applications
Small CNC machines (milling, drilling, tapping)
Industrial automation: pick-and-place, dispensing, assembly
Precision rotary axes, indexing tables
Vertical or suspended loads (e.g., Z-axes) requiring holding brake
Light-load, high-response positioning in dry environments
7. Installation Guidelines
Mount on rigid, flat surface to minimize resonance.
Align motor/load shafts precisely to reduce vibration and bearing wear.
Use shielded power/encoder cables; separate power and signal wiring to reduce EMI.
Provide adequate ventilation; do not cover the motor.
Avoid shock during handling; protect encoder and shaft.
Not for direct coolant spray or heavy dust ingress.
8. Maintenance Instructions
Check for abnormal noise, vibration, or overheating periodically.
Keep motor surface clean of dust, chips, and oil.
Sealed bearings are maintenance-free under normal use.
Inspect encoder cables/connectors for tightness and damage.
Avoid continuous overload and frequent rapid reversing.
Test brake operation periodically: verify holding torque and release function.
9. Safety Precautions
Disconnect all 200–240 VAC power before installation/wiring/maintenance; wait ≥15 minutes for capacitor discharge.
Do not touch rotating shaft or moving parts during operation.
Brake is for holding only: Do not use for dynamic stopping; ensure safe power-off of vertical loads.
Do not disassemble motor or encoder; unauthorized disassembly voids warranty.
Do not use in conductive dust, condensation, or corrosive environments without protection.
10. Troubleshooting
Motor does not run: Check 3-phase power, wiring, servo alarms, enable signal, and brake release.
Abnormal noise/vibration: Check mounting rigidity, coupling alignment, bearings, and mechanical jamming.
Overheating: Check overload, ambient temperature, or blocked ventilation.
Position error excessive: Check encoder cable, connectors, servo parameters, and mechanical backlash.
Unstable speed: Check voltage fluctuation, load variation, or encoder interference.
Brake fails to hold: Check brake voltage, wear, or contamination.
Dust/oil ingress: Clean surface; improve environment or use IP67 version.
