High-Resolution Encoder: Equipped with a B128iA 128K incremental encoder, providing precise position and speed feedback for high-precision motion control.
IP67 Protection: Dust-tight and resistant to water immersion, suitable for harsh industrial environments (e.g., CNC machine tools, automation lines).
Compact & High Torque: Delivers 3.5 N·m rated torque in a compact frame, ideal for space-constrained applications requiring high power density.
Maintenance-Free: Brushless design eliminates brush wear; bearings are sealed and pre-lubricated for life under normal operating conditions.
High Efficiency: Optimized motor design minimizes energy consumption and heat generation during continuous operation.
6. Applications
CNC machine tools (milling machines, lathes, machining centers)
Industrial robots and automation equipment
Precision positioning systems
High-speed pick-and-place machines
General industrial motion control
7. Installation Guidelines
Mounting: Use the flange holes to mount the motor on a rigid, flat, vibration-free surface. Avoid mechanical stress due to misalignment.
Shaft Alignment: Align the motor shaft and load shaft accurately to prevent vibration, noise, and premature bearing wear.
Cabling: Use shielded cables for power and encoder wiring to reduce EMI. Separate power cables from signal cables.
Ventilation: Ensure free airflow around the motor. Do not block heat-dissipation areas.
Encoder Handling: The encoder is a precision component; avoid shocks and excessive vibration during installation and operation.
8. Maintenance
Regular Inspection: Check for unusual noise, vibration, or overheating. Inspect cables and connectors for damage or looseness.
Cleaning: Keep the motor surface clean and free of dust, chips, and moisture. Use a dry cloth; avoid water and harsh chemicals.
Bearing Maintenance: Bearings are maintenance-free under normal use. If abnormal noise occurs, contact FANUC or an authorized service provider.
Encoder Care: Keep the encoder cable intact and properly connected. Avoid impact to the encoder cover.
9. Safety Precautions
Electrical Safety: Disconnect all power before installation, maintenance, or repair. Wait at least 15 minutes for capacitors to discharge to prevent electric shock.
Mechanical Safety: Do not touch the rotating shaft or moving parts during operation. Ensure the load is securely fixed before starting.
Environmental Safety: Do not use in explosive, flammable, or corrosive atmospheres unless specially modified.
Warranty Note: Warranty does not cover damage caused by liquids, improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized modification.
10. Troubleshooting
Motor Does Not Run: Check power supply, wiring connections, servo amplifier status, and alarm codes.
Abnormal Noise/Vibration: Inspect shaft alignment, mounting rigidity, and bearing condition. Check for loose components.
Overheating: Verify ambient temperature, ventilation, and load conditions. Check for winding insulation failure.
Positioning Error: Check encoder connection, cable integrity, and servo parameter settings. Inspect mechanical backlash.
11. Warranty & Support
Warranty Period: 1 year from the date of shipment.
Repair Service: Repair is available. Contact FANUC or an authorized service provider.
Technical Support: For technical questions, contact FANUC technical support or local distributors.
