1. General Description

140CRA93100C is the conformal coated (C suffix) version of the standard 140CRA93100, a Quantum‑native S908 RIO drop adapter (slave) for Modicon Quantum PLC racks.

6.1 Mounting

  3. Latch and tighten screw.

6.2 S908 RIO Coax Wiring

  • Use 75Ω coaxial cable (Belden 9182).

  • Connector: F‑type female (elbowed) on module.

  • Shield: Ground at RIO head end only.

  • Termination: 75Ω at first/last drop.

  • Address: Set drop address (1–31) via rotary switch on module.


7. Configuration (Unity Pro)

  1. Add 140CRA93100C in Quantum hardware catalog.

  2. Assign drop address (1–31) matching module switch.

  3. Map I/O words (In/Out) to Quantum memory.

  4. Download configuration to Quantum CPU.
