PCI-6154
Description
PCI-6154 | Product Introduction
The NI PCI-6154 is a S-series synchronous sampling multi-function DAQ card from National Instruments (NI), featuring channel-to-channel isolation. It is a PCI bus-based full-length card, with a focus on 4 isolated AI channels + 4 isolated AO channels + DIO + counter. It is suitable for testing scenarios in industrial environments with strong interference and requiring electrical isolation and synchronous control. Part number: 779340-01; discontinued (EOL), but spare parts and third-party supplies are still available.

VII. Installation and Usage Tips (Core of the Manual) Installation
Turn off the power and disconnect the device. Insert it into the standard PCI slot and tighten the retaining screws.
After powering on, identify the device in MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer) and confirm there are no errors.
Wiring (37-pin D-Sub)
AI: Differential wiring, AI+ / AI−,外壳 connected to ground.
AO: Single-ended or differential, isolated output, AO+ / AO−.
DIO: TTL level, common ground, avoid long-line interference.
Software configuration (NI-DAQmx)
Sampling mode: Simultaneous sampling.
Range: Select ±1 / ±2 / ±5 / ±10 V according to signal amplitude.
Trigger: Commonly used edge trigger (rising / falling).
Isolation and safety
Each AI/AO is 250 Vrms isolated, capable of isolating ground potential difference and common-mode interference.
Analog input is strictly prohibited from exceeding ±25 V; otherwise, it will damage the front end.
VIII. Core Features
4 isolated AI + 4 isolated AO, full-channel synchronous 250 kS/s NI
16-bit high resolution, electrical isolation (250 Vrms), strong anti-common-mode interference NI
AO can be superimposed output (up to ±40 V), suitable for high-voltage excitation
6DI + 4DO + 2×32-bit counters, complete functions
Applicable: Industrial control, automotive testing, data recording in strong interference environments, isolated excitation-response measurement
