1. Analog Input Modules

FBM201 – 8‑Channel Current/Voltage AI

Channels: 8 isolated

Ranges: 0–20 mA; 0–5 VDC; 0–10 VDC; 0–100 mV

Resolution: 16‑bit

Accuracy: ±0.03 % of span

Isolation: 600 VAC (1 min)

Impedance: 61.5 Ω (mA)

Usage: Connect 2/3‑wire transmitters; configure range via software; HART optional (jumper).

FBM202 – 8‑Channel Thermocouple/mV AI

Channels: 8 isolated

Types: B/E/J/K/N/R/S/T (TC); ±100 mV

Cold Junction: Built‑in compensation

Resolution: 16‑bit

Accuracy: ±0.1 % of span

Usage: Connect TC sensors; select type in software; filter noise (50/60 Hz).

FBM203 – 8‑Channel RTD AI

Channels: 8 isolated

Sensor: Platinum (Pt100/Pt1000); Nickel; Copper

Resolution: 16‑bit

Accuracy: ±0.05 % of span

Usage: Connect 2/3/4‑wire RTD; set sensor type in software.

FBM222 – 16‑Channel 4–20 mA AI with HART

Channels: 16 isolated (4–20 mA)

HART: v5/v6/v7 (all channels)

Resolution: 16‑bit

Accuracy: ±0.05 % of span

Usage: Connect HART smart transmitters; read diagnostics/parameters via HART; mix HART/non‑HART devices.

2. Analog Output Module

FBM237 – 8‑Channel 4–20 mA AO

Channels: 8 isolated

Range: 4–20 mA (0–20 mA configurable)

Resolution: 16‑bit

Accuracy: ±0.1 % of span

Load: 0–750 Ω

Usage: Drive valves/actuators; set output via control logic; monitor status via LEDs.

3. Discrete I/O Modules

FBM26A/B/C – 8DI + 8DO Main Module

Channels: 8 DI (24 VDC) + 8 DO (relay/SSR)

DI: 24 VDC isolated; 10–30 VDC logic high

DO: 2 A @ 30 VDC; 0.5 A @ 120/240 VAC

Isolation: 250 VAC (1 min)

Usage: Basic on/off control; expand with FBM27; configure filter/failsafe in software.

FBM27A/B/C – 16DO Expansion Module

Channels: 16 DO (isolated)

Rating: 2 A @ 60 VDC; 0.5 A @ 120/240 VAC

Dependence: Requires FBM26 main module

Usage: Expand DO count; wire to TAs (termination assemblies) for fusing/relays.

FBM29 – 16DO Standalone Module

Channels: 16 DO (isolated)

Rating: Same as FBM27 (2 A DC / 0.5 A AC)

Dependence: Standalone (no FBM26 required)

Usage: Independent high‑density DO; direct wiring to field loads or TAs.

Basic Installation & Usage (All FBM2XX)

Mount: Snap into standard I/A rack; ensure firm seating.

Wiring: Connect field devices to TA (Termination Assembly); avoid long parallel runs with power cables.

Configuration:

Set channel range/type in I/A Series software.

Enable HART (if applicable) via jumper/software.

Configure DI filter time; set DO failsafe state.

Operation:

Check LED indicators (module/channel status).

Monitor values in HMI; verify alarms/diagnostics.

Maintenance: Hot‑swap faulty modules; no system shutdown required.
