V. Safety Features
Redundant Communication: Parallel transmission of dual buses A/B, single path failure without interruption, compliant with SIL3 without single point failure.

VI. Installation and Wiring

Field-side Wiring:
Both ends of the bus modules: S1/S2 set to ON (enable terminal resistor)

Twisted pair: 0.5mm² wire diameter, shield layer double-ended grounding, maximum 2400m
Lightning Protection Wiring: Connect MTRS485 module in series with the bus, install near H7506.
VII. Debugging and Maintenance
Power-on Test: Power LED always on; bus LED flashes normally, no alarm.
Configuration: SILworX software recognizes bus topology, configures redundant mode and communication address.
Daily Maintenance: Check wiring tightness, terminal resistor switch status every 6 months; dust removal, backup configuration.
Fault Troubleshooting:
Communication Packet Loss: Terminal resistor not open / wire diameter too small → Check switch / Replace 0.5mm² wire;
Long-distance Interference: Not grounded / No lightning protection → Shield layer grounded / Install lightning protection module;
Bus Interruption: D-Sub contact failure → Reinsert or replace cable.
