Terminal Specifications: 0.75~2.5mm² Multi-strand Copper Wire III. Core Functions
4 Independent Power Distribution: Each path is 24VDC/4A, with an independent slow-blow fuse. A single path failure does not affect other channels.
Real-time Status Monitoring: Internal loop detection of fuse status, output overcurrent/short circuit, overtemperature. Panel LED display + dry contact alarm.
Fault Isolation: When a single path is short-circuited/overloaded, this path is quickly cut off, while other channels continue to be powered. This prevents the spread of faults.
Redundant Adaptation: Can be combined with F7126/F7130A power modules and F7131 monitoring modules to build a redundant power supply architecture for the SIS system.
Hot Swap: Supports online module replacement without affecting system operation. After replacement, the power distribution is automatically restored.
IV. Installation and Wiring
(1) Installation Steps
Environmental Check: No corrosive gases, no strong electromagnetic interference. Reserve ≥ 20mm heat dissipation space, away from frequency converters and contactors.
Mechanical Installation:
DIN Rails: Module snap-fit aligns with 35mm rails, press to secure;
Sub-rack: Insert into standard slots, tighten screws for fixation.
Wiring (Power Off Operation):
Power Input: L + connected to 24V positive, L - connected to 24V negative, cable ≥ 1.5mm²;
Output Channels: CH1~CH4 correspond to I/O module 24V positive, common terminal connected to L-;
Alarm Output: Fault contacts (NO/COM) connected to DCS/PLC alarm circuits;
Grounding: Module ground connected to cabinet protection ground, grounding resistance ≤ 4Ω.
Power On Check: After correct wiring, power on, PWR light is constantly on, ALM light is off, all channels' LEDs are on, output is normal.
(2) Panel Indicator Lights
PWR (green): Power normal is constantly on, off indicates 24V input abnormal;
ALM (red): Faults are lit (fuse melting, overcurrent, short circuit, overtemperature);
CH1~CH4 (yellow): Corresponding channels are lit normally, off indicates this path is faulty.
V. Operation and Maintenance
(1) Normal Operation
After power-on, the module automatically initializes and detects the status of each channel in real time;
Each fuse is default 4A slow-blow, can be replaced with the same specification fuse according to the load;
Regularly read the module status through alarm contacts or system diagnosis.
(2) Fault Handling
ALM light is on:
Check the corresponding channel LEDs, locate the faulty channel;
After power-off, check if the fuse of this path has melted, replace with the same specification (4A slow-blow);
Check if the output circuit is short-circuited or overloaded, eliminate the fault and restart.
PWR light is off:
Check 24V input voltage, fuse, wiring terminals;
Confirm that the input power has no overvoltage, undervoltage, reverse connection.
Hot Swap Replacement:
Directly pull out the faulty module, system triggers an alarm but operates normally;
Insert a new module, the system automatically identifies and restores power distribution, the alarm is eliminated.
(3) Maintenance Cycle
Daily: Check indicator lights, confirm no alarms;
Quarterly: Check the tightness of wiring terminals, no overheating, no oxidation;
Annual: Clean the module surface dust, check fuse specifications, aging condition;
Storage: When not in use for a long time, disconnect and store in a dry and cool environment, temperature - 40℃~+85℃.
VI. Safety Precautions
Installation and maintenance must be operated by professional certified personnel, abide by electrical safety regulations;
Do not replace fuses or remove internal components of the module while powered on;
Output circuits must not be overloaded or short-circuited, load current ≤ 4A/path;
Only replace the same model F7132 when faulty, do not substitute other modules; modules should be treated as industrial hazardous waste, not discarded randomly.
