HIMA F6216A (4-channel analog input module, SIL3)
F6216A is an upgraded / compatible model of F6216. Its core parameters are the same as F6216, and the electrical interface, size, and functions are fully compatible. Only the internal firmware and production batch differ. It is compatible with HIMA F3/F4 series safety PLCs (ESD/BMS).

III. Functional Features
High reliability of TMR: Three independent channels for sampling and calculation, a single channel failure does not affect the safe operation of the system.
Safety diagnosis: Real-time monitoring of each channel for abnormalities, fault triggers alarms and logs are recorded, online location is supported.
Signal compatibility: Default 4–20mA, can be configured as 0–10V through HIQuad X/SILworX software, suitable for pressure / temperature / level sensors.
Seamless integration: Plug-and-play, compatible with F3311/F3313/F4316 etc. CPUs, the backplane automatically identifies and allocates addresses.
Hot swapping: Online replacement of modules does not require downtime, maintenance is convenient.
IV. Installation and Wiring Tips
Installation: Insert into the 4TE slot of the rack, tighten the fixing screws to ensure reliable connection with the CPU backplane. Connecting the wires
Current (4–20mA): Positive terminal of the sensor → CHx+, negative terminal → CHx-, no additional resistors required.
Voltage (0–10V): Positive terminal of the sensor → CHx+, negative terminal → CHx-, signal ground is common to the module ground.
Shielding wire: Single-ended grounding (module side), to avoid circulating interference.
Configuration: HIQuad X software is used to set the channel type, range, filtering parameters and alarm threshold, and it is downloaded to the CPU to take effect.
