Four. Functional Characteristics

Five. Installation and Wiring Tips

Installation: Insert the module into the 4TE slot of the rack, tighten the fixing screws; ensure it is in the same rack as the CPU module, and the backplane connection is reliable.

Wiring:

Current signal (4–20mA): Connect the positive pole of the sensor to CHx+, and the negative pole to CHx-. No additional resistors are required.

Voltage signal (0–10V): Connect the positive pole of the sensor to CHx+, and the negative pole to CHx-. Ensure that the signal ground is common with the module ground.

Shielded Wire: Single-ended grounding (module side), to avoid circulating interference.

Configuration: Set the channel type, range, filtering parameters, and alarm threshold through the HIQuad X software, and download the configuration to take effect on the CPU.

Six. Fault Troubleshooting

Module no response: Check the 5V power supply on the backplane, whether the module is tightened, and whether the CPU recognizes the module (software diagnosis).

Signal abnormality: Check if the wiring is loose, if the sensor is faulty, if the channel configuration is correct, and if there is electromagnetic interference.

Diagnostic Alarm: View the fault code through the software to locate the faulty channel and type (open circuit / short circuit / overrange).
