4256A25G02 is the upgraded second-generation MRC (Main Remote Control) master board of Westinghouse Emerson 4256 series Ovation WDPF DCS, with the unified Emerson spare part number 1C31025G06, fully compatible and plug-and-play with the base version 4256A25G01 (1C31025G03). As the core control unit for distributed remote I/O racks, it undertakes bidirectional high-speed data exchange, remote bus scheduling and field signal preprocessing between the main control cabinet and multi-group on-site remote stations. Compared with G01 version, it optimizes internal processing chip, bus transmission algorithm and redundant switching logic, featuring larger data cache, faster fault switching response and stronger long-term anti-interference stability.

Description

The module adopts multi-layer high-temperature FR-4 industrial PCB with full enclosed electromagnetic shielding layout, built-in 1000V AC/DC galvanic isolation between external remote bus terminals and internal logic circuits, effectively filtering electromagnetic noise generated by high-voltage equipment, frequency converters and large rotating machinery in thermal power, petrochemical and metallurgical heavy industrial sites.
Every board passes strict factory verification: 72-hour high-low temperature cycle aging, full-load continuous bus communication test, redundant channel failure simulation and full-channel hardware accuracy calibration. It supports single-slot hot-swappable backplane installation without overall DCS system shutdown, integrated multi-stage surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent, reverse polarity and short-circuit protection circuits. Multiple independent LED diagnostic lights display power status, main bus link, remote channel running state and hardware fault codes, supporting rapid on-site fault location, greatly improving the expandability and continuous operation reliability of large multi-station distributed control systems, and reducing unplanned production downtime and maintenance labor costs.
