4256A08G02 is an original Emerson Westinghouse programmable central control module of the 4256 series Ovation distributed control system, acting as the core logic computing and data scheduling unit for DCS control racks. It adopts high-temperature resistant FR-4 industrial PCB and multi-layer electromagnetic shielding circuit design to resist severe electromagnetic interference in harsh industrial sites including thermal power plants, petrochemical and metallurgical workshops. Every module undergoes 72-hour high-low temperature cycle aging, full logic function verification and bus communication calibration before delivery. Featuring hot-swappable backplane plug-in installation without system shutdown, it integrates multi-level surge, overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection circuits. This module undertakes real-time logic operation, bidirectional data transmission between rack I/O modules and upper monitoring systems, greatly improving overall system stability and reducing production maintenance downtime.
