IV. Wiring and Connection

CON021 Terminal Definitions:

1 Terminal: -24V power negative

2 Terminal: 0V power ground

3 Terminal: Signal output (connected to TSI modules such as MMS6110/MMS6312)

4 Terminal: Signal common ground

Sensor and Preamplifier:

PR6423 comes with LEMO aviation connector, which can be directly inserted into the CON021 interface and tightened for locking.

Shielding Grounding Requirements:

Single-point grounding, only the front panel of the cabinet and preamplifier side are grounded, the shielding at the probe end is left floating, and grounding at both ends is prohibited.

V. On-site Installation and Commissioning

Probe should be vertically aligned with the measured shaft surface, avoiding the edge of the shaft

Initial Pre-set Installation Gap: 2.5mm

Power On Fine-tuning of the Probe Position to make the preamplifier output stable at -12V and then lock and fix

Cable should be kept away from power lines, frequency converters, and not laid parallel in the same slot as the power cable

VI. Voltage State Discrimination

Too Small Gap: Output close to -4V

Standard Working Point: 2.5mm ➜ -12V

Too Large Gap: Output close to -20V

No Voltage or Approaching 0V: Probe broken wire, LEMO connector loose, power polarity reversed
