2. Product Overview

X20BC8083 is an expandable high-performance bus controller for X20 I/O system. It acts as a POWERLINK controlled node to connect X20 I/O station to Ethernet POWERLINK real-time network. This model is designed with two expansion slots for hub modules, allowing flexible extension of Ethernet ports to build star, daisy-chain and complex ring network topologies. It realizes high-speed data exchange and precise time synchronization between upper-level POWERLINK master and local X20 I/O modules via X2X Link backplane bus.
